Making Choices

This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. -Deuteronomy 30:19-20

Every choice is not without significance. therefore, the decisions we make don't only impact us, but also others. To make a choice is to settle, determine, and bring to resolution. It is the very act of one making up their mind. God has entrusted us with an awesome task. Don't forsake the responsibility of making decisions.

The scripture in reference talks about a specific choice. This choice is between life and death. How many decisions do we make that reflect life? How many decisions do we make that reflect death? Is there an imbalance? God has given is the choice to make up our own minds to serve Him or Not.
